StockX fees: questions sellers ask

How much does StockX charge sellers?

A transaction fee of 9% at Level 1 down to 7% at Level 5 (at least $5), a 3% payment processing fee and a $5 shipping fee, all taken from your payout.

How do I reach a higher seller level?

Sell enough in a calendar quarter: 12 sales or $1,500 for Level 2, 40 or $5,000 for Level 3, 200 or $25,000 for Level 4, and 800 or $100,000 for Level 5. A level lasts for the rest of that quarter and the next one.

What is different about Flex?

Flex items are stored at StockX before they sell. Since March 1, 2026 Flex sales pay the same fees but no $5 shipping fee. Storage after 30 days is charged monthly and is not included here.

Are there fees on the Listings Marketplace?

No. StockX charges no selling, processing or shipping fees on Listings or StockX Live sales, so you keep the full price.

What is not included?

Withdrawal fees (2% to a debit card, about $2 by bank transfer, free to PayPal or Venmo), Flex storage, late-shipping penalties and heavier-item shipping surcharges.

Does StockX charge sellers for shipping?

Yes, on standard sales. A $5 shipping fee comes out of your payout. It can be higher for heavier items and multi-item packs. Flex sales have no shipping fee.

What is the minimum seller fee on StockX?

$5 for US sellers. NetPayout applies it to the transaction fee, so it applies to sales under about $55.56 at Level 1 and about $71.43 at Level 5.

Is the payment processing fee on top of the transaction fee?

Yes. StockX takes 3% of the sale price for payment processing in addition to the level-based transaction fee. There is no fixed amount per order.

Are StockX fees different by category?

No. The same seller-level fees apply to sneakers, apparel, electronics, collectibles, trading cards and handbags on the Verified Marketplace.
