Questions sellers ask
How much does Mercari charge sellers?
10% of the item price plus the shipping the buyer pays. There is no payment processing fee and no listing fee.
The buyer pays for a Mercari label. What do I enter?
Enter the label price as shipping charged. Mercari keeps that money for the label, which NetPayout shows as a deduction, but still charges its 10% on it.
What if I offer free shipping?
Leave shipping charged at 0 and enter the label price as shipping cost. Mercari deducts the label from your earnings and charges 10% on the item price only.
Does the buyer pay fees too?
Yes, a 3.6% Buyer Protection fee on top of your price. It does not come out of your earnings.
What is not included?
Instant Pay ($3 per cash-out), Authenticate fees, cancellation fees and carrier penalties.
