Grailed fees: questions sellers ask

How much does Grailed charge sellers?

A commission of 6% (at least $1.99) on sales under $120, or 9% on sales of $120 and up, plus payment processing of 3.49% + $0.49 for US buyers or 4.99% + $0.49 for international buyers.

Why does a $120 sale keep less than a $119.99 sale?

The 9% rate applies to the whole sale once it reaches $120, not just the part above it. Pricing at $119.99 instead of $120 keeps about $3.60 more.

Is shipping charged commission?

Not for US buyers, because US sales ship on a Grailed Label. For international buyers, the shipping you charge is added to the sale price for the commission. Payment processing is charged on shipping either way.

What does “set up with Stripe” mean?

Grailed pays sellers through Stripe. Sellers who have not finished Stripe onboarding pay a higher processing fee: $0.99 fixed instead of $0.49, and 5.49% on international sales.

What is not included?

Sales tax and VAT collected from buyers, promotional commission rates, duties on prepaid-duty orders and the $4 signature fee on orders over $750.

Does Grailed charge a listing fee?

No. Grailed has no listing or account fee, and it is free for buyers. You pay a commission and payment processing when an item sells.

Does Grailed charge sales tax?

Grailed collects state sales tax from US buyers in most states, and it is not a Grailed fee. It is left out of the commission but is part of what processing is charged on.

Why do some sites say Grailed charges a flat 9%?

That was the commission before May 20, 2026. Sales under $120 now pay 6% (at least $1.99). Sales of $120 and up still pay 9%.

When does Grailed pay out?

Grailed releases the funds within 3 calendar days of the item showing as delivered. For US sellers, allow 2-3 business days after that for the money to arrive. No payout fee is listed.
