What does TikTok Shop charge sellers in the US?
A referral fee of 6% for most categories, charged on the item price plus the shipping the buyer pays. There is no separate payment processing fee and no fixed fee per order.
Is the affiliate commission a TikTok fee?
It is the commission you set for creators who sell your product. It is charged on the item price only, and only on sales that come through a creator.
Do my discounts lower the fee?
Yes. Discounts you fund lower the fee base, so enter the price after your discount. Discounts TikTok funds do not, so enter the price before them.
I’ve seen 8% quoted. Which is right?
TikTok’s official category table, revised 8 October 2026, still shows 6% for most categories. NetPayout follows the official table and will update if TikTok changes it.
What is not included?
