Questions sellers ask

What does TikTok Shop charge in the UK?

9% commission on the item price plus the shipping the buyer pays, or 5% for eligible electronics, appliances and beauty devices. Orders you ship yourself also pay £0.50 per package. All fees include VAT.

Is there a new seller discount?

TikTok says new sellers get reduced commission for their first 60 days but does not publish the rate, so NetPayout shows the standard rate. Check your Seller Centre for yours.

Can I reclaim the VAT?

TikTok’s fees include VAT. VAT-registered sellers may be able to reclaim the VAT part; NetPayout shows the full fee.

What is not included?

Fulfilled by TikTok fees, TikTok shipping labels, return postage and opt-in Smart Promotion fees.
